參謀長葉劍英、第359旅旅長王震、大衛·包瑞德上校和美軍駐延安觀察組其他成員在第359旅經過檢閱台的時候向戰士致敬回禮。他們上方的幾個大字是中文“閱兵台”，右側豎著的一行標語寫的是“中美蘇英團結起來”。
